our story
Hal and Nancy Miller are the owners of Antiques On Mainstreet. Their story began in 2005 with the opening of Antiques At Shady Oak, also in Hopkins but on the west end of town. That mall began with 18 dealers and expanded over 4 years to 50. In May of 2009 a fire in a neighboring business forced the closing of the mall.
Fourteen months after that terrible day, Antiques On Mainstreet opened its doors on July 1st, 2010. Loyal Shady Oak dealers had worked tirelessly for weeks, cleaning and painting and readying the new store. They filled their booths and cases with a wide variety of merchandise, excited to make a fresh start. We've been going strong ever since!
